FORD SUPER DUTY ENGINE OPTIONS
The cab size and bed length may create countless combinations, but you’ll find only one of two engines powering each Ford Super Duty. The standard gasoline engine is a 6.2L V8 that produces a reliable 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, and it’s also E85 compatible. But for an engine that exists on its own plane, look to the recharged 6.7L V8 turbo diesel, which is optional on all Super Duty trucks. With 440 horsepower and an earth-shaking 925 lb-ft of torque on tap, a Super Duty V8 can handle whatever challenge comes it's way.

As efficient as ever, the Ford Super Duty trucks can haul with the best of them. Here’s a look at the maximum towing and payload ratings for a properly equipped Super Duty with 5th wheel setup:
